And that, friends, was the sad, sad response I had to finding my own blog from 4 years ago. This post is probably what sent me over the edge in giggles:

Well, in the years since then, I've had a lot happen. I started a real job at Georgia Tech where I am a professor:
I make cool things like this:
I have a group of students and staff that looked like this a year ago:
But now it's a lot bigger.
I've got funding awards from NASA (3 as PI) and invitations to talk about my group's work developing organic analyzers to go on cool impator systems to hit Europa at 5 km/s. These might look something like this:

We'll be testing this summer, maybe there will be posts for that soon!
My group has a website:
http://www.astockto.com/
I've been invited to do a Story Collider:

More keeps happening every day.
The team is going to Iceland this summer - you can follow us on Facebook:

We'll also be going to Japan - we may be creating our own blog for that, which is how I actually found this old blog.
I still have a garden, and am always surrounded by mad scientists who do mad things deserving of humorous posts. I'm sure there's much more to come.
Stay hungry! There's a million worlds to explore and let's go explore them together!
